It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Echo Marceau of Nekoosa, WI, on Saturday, December 9, 2024, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Born on July 16, 1955, to Harold and Elaine (Zurfluh) Marceau.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Nekoosa WI.
In June of 1997, she proudly graduated from Gateway Technical College. While she held various jobs throughout her life, she was mainly a homemaker.
Echo enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bingo and cribbage, and reveling in the joy of music. Camping brought her great happiness, with Mondoux Dam was one of her favorite spots. Additionally, she found joy in shopping, not only for herself but others too, especially her grandchildren.
Echo is survived by her loving father, Harold Marceau; her brother, Jack Marceau; and her daughters, Rachelle and Angie. Her grandchildren, Mileena, Quan, Matthew, Lilly, Jasmine, Elysia, and Josiah, as well as her great-grandsons, Elway and Callum.
Echo is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Elaine Marceau, and her son, Blake Higdon.
She is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
There will be a celebration of Life at a later date.
