Eda Effross Obituary
Eda was married to the love of her life, Irving, for 67 years. She loved the sun and playing mahjong with friends. Her greatest joys were going to EVERY event her children played in or coached and helping with any cause she felt strongly about. Also, it was a rare occurrence that until her passing, you wouldn't find her at happy hour eating a small plate of nosh and talking with friends with her customary glass of chardonnay.
Over the last two years, she spent all her time with her steadfast aide Diana. They truly loved and admired one another and were nearly inseparable.
She is survived by her son Andrew and daughter-in-law Hope of Gaithersburg, MD, two granddaughters, Reese and Sarah, and two great grandchildren, Gwinneth and Baker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving, daughter Maralyn and son Jay.
A graveside service will be held on Monday April 7th at 10am at Laurelwood Cemetery.
