Eddie Bott Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brigham Funeral Chapel - Edmore on Mar. 11, 2026.
Eddie Arland Bott Jr., 42, of Edmore, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Friday, March 6, 2026. Eddie was born on December 17, 1983, to parents Eddie Bott Sr. and Karen Larie. He attended school in St. Louis, where he later met the love of his life, Samantha. The two were united in marriage on April 29, 2011, and together they were blessed with two beautiful daughters.

Eddie was a true jack-of-all-trades and who used his skills to take on a wide variety of jobs over the years. He had a passion for all things with an engine- trucks, cars, motorcycles, and big rigs. Eddie will be remembered for his laugh and for always being the life of the party. He was truly loved by all who knew him. Above-all-else, Eddie deeply loved his wife and children. His family will especially cherish the many memories they have together listening to music and simply enjoying life.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Samantha; their two daughters, Ashlynn and Saleen; grandparents, Judy (Frank) Barrus and Arthur McCracken; brother, Joshua (Brenda) Woods; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Andrew (Maria) Bondie and Katelyn (Trent) Parsons; ten nieces and nephews; aunt Susie Bott Rippie; and mother-in-law, Kimberly Short. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and grandfather Ken Larie.

A celebration of Eddie's life is being planned for a future date. Care has been entrusted to Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Edmore. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
