Eddie Eugene Levrets, age 68, affectionately known to many as "Driver," passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Brownsville, TN. He was born on November 5, 1956, in Tulare, CA, and throughout his life, he embodied the spirit of adventure and camaraderie as a dedicated truck driver. There are no services scheduled for Eddie at this time but will be announced as they become available by the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
Eddie's career as a truck driver allowed him to form deep connections with his fellow drivers. He cherished the time spent with them, sharing stories and experiences that made the open road feel more like home. His passion for the driving profession was only paralleled by his love for motorcycles. In addition to his career on the road, Eddie had a profound love for gardening and landscaping. He took great delight in nurturing plants and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. This hobby reflected not only his creative spirit but also his desire to cultivate beauty in the world around him.
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Susan Levrets; son, Tim Levrets; brother, Gary Levrets; sister, Nona Levrets; grandchild, Cody Ferguson; and one great grandchild, Zathanyal Harper all of California. He will also be fondly remembered by his dear friend Pam Hackerman of Brownsville, TN. Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Betty Ake Levrets.
Eddie will be missed by all that has the pleasure of knowing him. The family requests that memorials be made to the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home to help with the final expenses of Eddie.
