Eddie Gene Hix, age 76 of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of the Union Hill Community in Clay County, TN passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2025, at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis. Eddie is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN.
Graveside Services & Interment with Military Honors for Eddie Gene Hix will be conducted Saturday afternoon, June 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from the Union Hill Cemetery with Drew Stafford officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Floyd C. & Madge E. (Cherry) Hix
Survivors include: wife, Judy Sue Hix of Indiana; daughters, Tracy Hix, Sonya Pierce of Indiana; sons, Eddie Dean Hix of Virginia, Wesley Hix of Indiana; 10 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Claridy of the Hermitage Springs Community, Patsy Ferguson of Celina.
