Eddie Ray Johnson age 65 of Erie, PA. passed away on Thursday April 28,2022. He was
Born on January 7,1957 to the late Rev. Eddie and Drucilla Newell Johnson Jr.
After he graduated from Academy High School, he worked at JTM and Lecom. He
Enlisted in the US Marines in Hawaii. Eddie was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Anthony Johnson. 2 sisters; Patricia A. Moffett and Lois A. Johnson. His grandparent's Eddie and Susan Johnson Sr. and Robert and Hazel Newell and former wife Shirley Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancé Renata, a sister; Betty Martin-Campbell, two daughters; Ja'net Crayton of Buford GA. Carmen Sansom of Erie. Nine grandchildren, A host of nieces,
Nephews, cousins, and friends. Brother-in-law Tom Moffett, Two aunts; Hazel Jones and Desire Giles, Teresa Chatman. Eddie was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and most recently Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church.
A public viewing will be held at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church 2624 German Street Erie, PA 16504 on Friday May 6,2022 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of his celebration
Of life service at 12:00 P.M. with Bishop Jesse N. Gavin Eulogizing. Interment will be private.
