I was surprised today to receive this reminder of Dr. Kolb's passing, and the solicitation of a comment. I'm retired now, but had a dream about work this week and Dr. Kolb, my boss, appeared in it. I had made a big mistake but he was understanding and forgiving, just emphasizing learning from it and moving on. It was a pleasant dream and a nice memory of his spirit.

I cannot express how much Dr. Kolb ment to me as a school administrator and as a mentor. Dr. Kolb was the greatest Director of Pupil Personnel Services that I have known. I treasure the memories that I have of Dr. Kolb and I wlll always be thankful of all that he did for me. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dr. Kolb was my sixth grade teacher and a friend. I am sorry to see him go, but the Heavenly Father knows best. God bless you, family.

Dr. Kolb was one of the most intelligent, insightful special educators I have ever met. He was wonderfully supportive in providing all needed services for the students in my classroom, and he always listened carefully about any concerns I had about the students. He loved the students and truly cared about those of us who taught them. He once came to a class party at my house and ate lunch with my students. I will always remember him fondly and am very grateful that I had the privilege of working under his direction for many years. May the Lord bless all of his loved ones with sweet memories and the Lord's comforting grace.

I was green, right out of college, and Dr. Kolb hired me, then met with me weekly the next 18 months, giving training that helped me become a decent school psychologist. He continued to provide that good counsel until he retired, and always advocated for the students. With gratitude for Eddie Kolb,
