Eddie Oday Still, 70, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
He was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on December 17, 1953, the son of the late Edward Lee Still & Clara Jean Spillman Still. Eddie was a graduate of Madison Central and a short time later he joined the City of Richmond Fire Department where he served his community as a firefighter until his retirement in 1994. In his free time, Eddie enjoyed listening to music, watching football and his favorite NASCAR driver, Dale Earnhardt.
Survivors include: his son, Joshua Still; three grandchildren, Kinley, Kingston, & Mauy Still; one brother, Chris Still (Peggy); two sisters, Claudia Wasson (Malcolm), and Betty Cain; a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends, as well as his pet cat, Gurdy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Laura Brooke Still; one brother, Gary Still; and one sister, Teresa Gail Still.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Bro. Greg King officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 (Noon), Friday, at the funeral home.
