Eddy Ramirez Obituary
Eddy Fernando Ramirez, age 34, passed away on July 31, 2025, in Salt Lake City Utah. A gifted athlete, a soulful singer, and a deeply compassionate man, Eddy lived his life with quiet strength and unwavering love for those around him.
Eddy was passionate about baseball and golf, and his talent on the field was matched only by the warmth he brought to every gathering. He was a devoted father to his son Rex and a cherished uncle to Jaxxon, always finding joy in their laughter and milestones. His kindness was effortless, his generosity boundless. He listened more than he spoke, observed more than he judged, and accepted everyone with an open heart.
Soft-spoken and reserved, Eddy was the kind of person who made you feel seen without needing to say a word. His spontaneity and gentle nature made him a safe haven for many, and his presence was a quiet comfort that will be deeply missed.
Eddy is survived by his loving parents, Cindy Hakala and Fernando Ramirez: his beloved son, Rex, his sister Hilary Hakala; his nephew Jaxxon Sweeney; his grandparents, Douglas and Viola Cameron; his great grandfather Dave Cameron; his uncle Marty Hakala; and Necia Hanna, the mother of his child and the love of his life. He also leaves behind Mr. Biggs the beloved family pet who rarely left his side, and numerous family members and friends who were touched by his grace and spirit.
Funeral Services
A memorial service to celebrate Eddy's life and legacy will be held on August 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM
755 East Three Fountains Dr, Murray Utah 84107
Dinner will follow the services, and all who loved Eddy are welcomed to join in remembrance and fellowship.
Eddy's life lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he gave so freely.
