Julie Keeney Obituary
Julie grew up on the family (Erekson Brothers) dairy farm in Murray, Utah. Julie loved working on the farm with her father Quentin and loved avoiding working with her mother Fern in the house! Life was hauling hay, feeding cows, and showing up all the boys with how hard she could work. Also, there was playing games and sports with the cousins and neighbors. Then, with a large family, there was all the joy of being with them. Julie was even voted Female Athlete of year her senior year of high school.
Julie went to BYU and played sports for them and ran the Deseret Marathon. She went on a mission (1978-1980) for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Belgium Brussels Mission. This is where she met her Zone Leader, and future husband, Jeff Keeney. They were married in 1985 and Julie moved to Garden Grove, California to start her married life.
Julie worked in a medical office until the duties of 3 children took her full-time at home. The early years were the normal fun of work, babies, diapers, and watching everything grow. Unfortunately, health issues took their toll on her and for years she fought the good fight.
Upon Jeff's retirement, they moved to Utah and built a home in Huntsville. During this time, her dementia continued to worsen, and finally, Julie's physical fight came to an end Jan. 10, 2026.
Julie was proud of her legacy, and will be missed by all who had the wonderful opportunity to know her.

Jules, love you to the moon and back, and back again. You were the BEST friend, so many laughs, too many hard times. Now you're free of all the pain and misery. Hope you're running, jumping, and playing baseball in heaven. BFF's FOREVER!
