James Allen Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kramer Family Funeral & Cremation Center on Mar. 27, 2026.
James Bruce Allen, 66, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on March 18, 2026. He was born on April 24, 1959.

Bruce spent his life working in auto machinery and took great pride in owning and operating his own business. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and the respect he earned from those who worked alongside him.

Above all, Bruce loved his family. He shared a deep and lasting bond with his beloved wife, Patricia, and his children, Tayler and Trisha, as well as his grandchildren, Harlee, Carrson, and Skye. He also cherished his lifelong friendships, maintaining close connections throughout the years that meant so much to him.

Bruce had a passion for the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing. He had a special connection with animals and a personality that drew people in-he was known for his sense of humor, his quick wit, and his ability to make others laugh. He was truly the life of the party and will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, Tayler (Liz & kids), Trisha (Anthony); his sisters, Teena (Stephen, Abby) and Suzi (Jennifer), along with many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, James Bruce Allen, his mother, Jean Younker and his nephew Chad Sorensen.

His family is grateful for every moment shared with him and will cherish his memory forever.
