Ft. Gibson, OK resident Eden Grace Ferrell-Jackson passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 16. Eden was born on April 3, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Her parents are Scott Dewayne and Amber Grace (Small) Jackson.
Eden loved mentoring those younger than her by volunteering at Norwood Elementary and Ft. Gibson High School. She enjoyed spending time at Clinkenbeard Park and the library. Eden took joy in walking, writing poetry, making art and jewelry. She loved listening to music and talking with her family and friends and especially her boyfriend, Jace. Eden treasured her girls mornings with her mama and daddy-daughter dates. She is so dearly loved and will be missed by so many.
Eden is survived by her parents, Scott and Amber Jackson; grandparents, Brenda Jackson, Rebecca Absher, Bruce and Candy Winders; four brothers, Henry Jackson, Dalton Ferrell, Cody Small and Benjamin Coolen; two sisters, Riley Jackson and Montanna Phillips and many other family and friends.
Eden was preceded in death by her grandpa, James E. Jackson (aka Poohpa); grandpa, Jimmy Ferrell; great grandparents, Richard and Sue Jackson; great grandpa, Bill Coy; great grandmother, Grace Purdy; brother, Corbin Small and cousin, Lagan Jackson.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Benjamin Coolen, Cody Small, Dalton Ferrell, Richard Moore, Jace Johnston and Cameron Rice. Honorary casket bearers will be Zachary Jackson and Henry Jackson.
Viewing will be Friday, November 14, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK. Eden’s family will welcome friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Seminole, OK. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Rev. Steven Vaughn will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
