It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Dr. Edd Advincula.
Born in the Philippines on March 20, 1940, Dr. Edd came to Muenster in February 1995 after 25 years of practicing medicine in Kingston, Canada. He quickly became a pillar of our community, caring for generations of patients with skill, compassion, and kindness. Even after retiring, he continued to see patients part time until 2021.
We welcome you to share your memories and photos of Dr. Edd in the comments as we prepare for a memorial service in his honor.
A memorial Mass is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday September 2, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Austin Hoodenpyle officiating. A reception will follow in Knights of Columbus Hall, 403 N Oak St, Muenster, TX 76252.
Memorial contributions may be made to the MMH foundation at muensterhospital.com.
