Julita "Judy" Advincula, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025 in her home surrounded by her doting family. For seven years, she faced her challenges with strength, courage, and grace, embodying the spirit of a true warrior. Born on April 21, 1958, in Marikina, Philippines, she was the cherished daughter of Ruben and Corazon Zantua.
Judy was a woman of steadfast faith, whose devotion to Christ shaped every moment of her life. Her love for God shone through in the way she served others-whether through heartfelt worship at Jesus Christ the Savior Church in the Philippines in her earlier years or through her dedicated work in the community with Summit Church in Springfield, Virginia in her later years. With a voice that lifted spirits and a dance that radiated pure joy, Judy illuminated every space she entered, bringing warmth and inspiration to those who worshipped alongside her. Expressing her love for God through song and movement was not just a passion-it was her dream fulfilled, a reflection of the light she carried within her.
For 42 wonderful years, Judy shared an enduring love and partnership with her husband, Arnel Advincula. Together, they built a life centered on faith, love, and family, raising their children with the same values she held dear. As a grandmother, Judy's heart overflowed with love, always putting family first and treasuring moments spent together.
Her generosity knew no bounds; Judy had a heart that never ceased to give. She prioritized others above herself, always ensuring the happiness and well-being of her loved ones and her community. Her kindness and warmth created bonds that lasted a lifetime, turning friends into family.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Arnel Advincula; her children, Barbra Jill Jennings (Christopher Jennings), Arlene Cyree (Zachary Cyree), and Aziza Martina Creamer (Todd Jordan Creamer); her cherished grandchildren, Iris Creamer and Zander Cyree; and her siblings, Bong Zantua and Alona Zantua. She also leaves behind a host of extended family, including nieces, nephews, and cousins. She reunites in heaven with her parents, Ruben and Corazon Zantua; and her brother, Elmer Zantua. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the songs she sang, and the unwavering faith she carried.
Her family and friends celebrate her life and legacy, knowing she has found eternal peace in the presence of her Savior. While she is deeply missed, her love and faith remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Judy's memory will forever be a song in our hearts, a testament to a life well lived in faith and love.
