Edith Mae Bailey, age 92, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born on October 20, 1933, in Yale, Oklahoma, to Bert and Myrtle Bell.
Edith was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbie Mae Templeton; her husband, Bill Bailey; her parents, Bert and Myrtle Bell; and her brothers, Ralph Bell, Alfred Bell, and Charles Bell.
She is survived by her sons, Herbert Templeton and his wife Jennett of Farmington, New Mexico, and John Templeton and his wife Carol of Farmington, New Mexico; her sister, Mary and her husband Ray Upson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Edith was the owner of House of Hearing, where she dedicated her time to serving others. She had a deep love for playing the guitar, singing, reading, and gardening.
She was actively involved in several groups and organizations, including the Bell Family Band, Girls Night Out, Bill Bailey Country Classics, and First Baptist Church.
Edith will be remembered for her love of family, her musical talents, and the joy she brought to those around her.
