Edith Collett Obituary
Edith Holloway Collett, age 98, passed away on November 3, 2024 in Birmingham, AL. She was a native of Rockwood, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Collett, sisters Altha Trammell, Zora "Zee" Hamilton and brothers Hoyt Holloway and Glen Holloway, all of Rockwood, TN. Mrs. Collett is survived by her daughter, Carol Collett Howell, her son and daughter in law Danny and Ann Collett, many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several neices and nephews. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Graveside and interment service will follow at 2:15 pm ET in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Evans Mortuary is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Edith Holloway Collett.
