Departed this life on November 2, 2024, Mrs. Edith Robinette Lewis Peebles, age 81. She is survived by her husband, Robert Peebles; daughters, Sharon Hunter, Sheila Grooms, Glenda Tinnen (Lacy), Robin Peebles and Robin Grooms; sons, Glenn Lewis, Sr., Samuel Grooms, Gregory Grooms, Warren Peebles and Shawn Peebles; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Hunt and Charlene Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, one sister-in-law, Brenda Branch, other relatives and friends. The family will receive family and friends at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220 on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm. Memorial Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2801 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23223 on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 1pm. Family and friends will assemble at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 12:30pm.
