Edith Romano

Edith Romano, 95, formerly of Glenolden, PA passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Born May 13, 1928 in Darby, PA, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Stefanie (Mazzino) Natale.
She was a graduate of Darby High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper. After she retired from bookkeeping, Edith obtained her Commercial Driver's License and worked for Interboro School District where she drove the school bus for special needs students.
Edith enjoyed the beach, especially the time that she spent on the Jersey Shore.
She is survived by two children, Vincent John (Alba) Romano and Stephanie (Fred) Colarullo; eight grandchildren, Katie (Michael), Krista (Sean), Matthew (Julie), Stephen (Tara), Andrew (Brittney), Gabriella (John), Olivia and Isabella and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Vincent S. Romano; a daughter and son in law, Louise Ann and Al Rostovskis; three brothers and four sisters.
Friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9-10:30 AM, Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Secane, PA. Burial will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
