Edith R. Sosnicki June 18, 1929 – October 23, 2021
Edith Renee Sosnicki, 92, of Toms River, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Edith was a woman with so much love to give and she was also loved by many friends and family members. Edith was predeceased by her husband, Albert Sosnicki. Her beautiful life will be cherished by her son, Ronald Marshott of Berkeley Heights and her daughters Cheryl Ernest of Forked River and Renee Polaski of Toms River. Edith is survived by five grandsons: Frank Ernest, IV of Atlanta, Georgia, Cain Ernest of Waretown, Michael Marshott of White Township, Charles Polaski of Toms River, and Eric Marshott of Rockaway. Edith is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Olivia, Avery, Gavin, Cailyn, Jackson and Eliana. Private funeral services will be held by Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, followed by Entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park. Edith Sosnicki was born in Jersey City to Rose (nee Pfeiffer) and Renzo L. Watts. She grew up in Iselin, N.J. and later moved to Elizabeth and then to Toms River, where she was a Dental Office Manager for many years. Edith was predeceased by brothers Theodore, Kenneth, Walter and Leon. Surviving is her sister, Irene Watts Marcrie. Edith will be laid to rest at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
