Edith Marie Thompson

Edith Marie Thompson, 91, of Lexington, KY passed away on December 19, 2025. Edith loved her family and enjoyed fishing, cooking (especially for her grandchildren) and working out in the yard, especially with flowers. Attending church was a priority until her health declined and made it difficult for her to attend. She always enjoyed holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas where she prepared delicious meals for her family.
Edith is survived by her loving husband of nearly 72 years, Billy Frank Thompson; her only son, Andrew F. Thompson (Whitney), and her grandchildren, Joshua Thompson, Kathryn Osterbrook (Ken), Allison Moberly (Jordan), Sarah Critchfield (Clayton), and Jennifer Torres (Victor). She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Kennedy, Ryder, Oaklyn, and Luka. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Pendleton as well as two younger brothers, Edward Pendleton and John Pendleton.
Visitation is 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 26th at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Rd. with funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Lexington Cemetery.
