Edith Dorlene (nee Montgomery), 105 of Bellevue, KY passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Carmel Manor Nursing Home.
She was born November 28, 1920 in butler, KY to Jacob and Mabel (nee Webster) Montgomery.
Dorlene enjoyed her work, and shared stories with her family about her employment at Kelly Koett, Wright Aeronautical, Cincinnati Bell, R.L. Polk, J.C. Penny and the Internal Revenue Service.
She and her family were members of the Dayton (KY) Church of Christ, where she regularly did volunteer work. SHe also did volunteer work at Dayton High School and the Shriners Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmer Albert, her brother, Harold Montgomery, and a great-grandchild, Bridgette Gibson.
Dorlene is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann Baxter and Beverly Gilbert, and 5 grandchildren, Jeremy (Diane) Gilbert, Emily Garber, Alex Gilbert, Amy Gibson, and Bethany Baxter, 10 great-grandchildren, Brittany Fogelman, John (Amyti) Fogelman III, Brooklyn Gibson, Juliana Messer, Mckenzie Baxter, Zachary Baxter, Natalie Gilbert, Brady Gilbert, Remy Garber, Sam Garber, and three great-great grandchildren, John Fogelman IV, Magnolia Fogelman, and Rowan Paul Messer.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery chapel near the main gates, where the procession will depart together to the graveside.
Memorials are suggested to the Cornerstone Christian Church, 139 8th Ave., Dayton, KY.
