Ediverto “Eddie” Rene Garcia
Donna - Ediverto “Eddie” Rene Garcia, 73, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at McAllen Medical Center.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Elma G. Garcia of 49 years, sons, Eddie Orlando (Marlene) Garcia ,Ruben (Monica) Garcia and Jesse Lee (Valerie) Garcia; six grandchildren; his mother, Alejandra Garcia; sisters, Irma Garcia and Hilda Garcia; and brothers, Juan Garcia, Jesus Oscar Garcia, Fernando Garcia, Carlos Garcia and Manuel Garcia.
Ediverto "Eddie" Rene Garcia was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
Ediverto "Eddie" Rene Garcia was a retiree from Verizon Telephone company and the CEO & Founder of Eddie's Boat Works in Donna. His love and passion for the outdoors, Ediverto was determined and received his masters mechanic certificate from Marine college of outboard motors in Houston, Texas.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
