Edmund James Ridesatthedoor, age 29, of Ft. Duchesne, moved to the side camp on November 30, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Edmund was born on January 11, 1996, in Crow Agency, Montana, to Deann Ridesatthedoor. He was adopted by his grandmother, Ruby Steele Ridesatthedoor, and raised in Crow Agency, Montana, Ibapah, Utah, and Fort Duchense, Utah. Iischiile-Ische-Chischiile (Looks For Good Horses) was his Crow name that was given to him by Edmund Little Light, Jr. He graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah, and then attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.
Edmund is survived by his grandmother, Ruby, aunt, Faelynn Ridesatthedoor, nephew, Matthew Spottedeagle, and his niece, Kailynn Spottedeagle.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Deann, grandfather, Alex Ridesatthedoor, great-grandparents, Leota Arrive and Jimmy Steele, and Josephine Little Dog and Jim Ridesatthedoor.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Whiterocks Community Building, followed by a luncheon.
A wake will not be held.
Burial in the Red Knoll Cemetery.
