Edna Ansley Hart Baker of Allentown Florida passed away Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at the age of 97.

Edna was born in Milligan, Florida to the late Donald and Iva Ansley.

She retired from Civil Service at NAS Whiting Field.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, since 1943 where she taught Sunday School and Church Training. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, sewing, gardening, reading, and doing puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William Rogers Hart and Morgan Baker; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Morris Williams; son-in-law, Durwood Baker.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice Baker; son, David and Ramona Hart; son, Steve and Maryann Baker; special niece, Joann Timlin; grandchildren, Woody Baker, Mathew and Crystal Baker, Jeremy Hart, Jessica Hart, Brad and Valorie Baker, Susan Kelly, Jan Brown, Keith Baker, Lisa and Mike Utke. 14 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Sandy Ridge Care center and staff of Vitas for their loving care and friendship given to Edna.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church, 5405 Calvary Church Road, Milton, Florida 32570, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 am and service at 11:00am. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Cemetery.
