Ms. Banks transitioned into eternity Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 78.
The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, July 25, 2025 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home, 302 Carter Street, Union Springs, AL.
The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of the Mt. Hillard Baptist Church, 435 Co Rd 53, Banks, AL.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Hillard Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Staff of Carter Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the End-of-Life Care of the late Ms. Edna Mae Banks.

I am so sorry that Edna is gone, it is like losing another sister. I will miss her but thank God that there is no more pain or suffering. Over the years I have found comfort in believing that our loved ones go to a better place. I hope to be absent from the body is to truly be present with God. I am praying for you Family. May God give you Peace, Comfort and Strength in Jesus name.
