Edna Leona Billings

Edna L. Pascucci Billings, 95, graduated to glory on February 17,2026 and has gone to be with Jesus and her first husband Joseph and second husband Marvin. Edna passed away peacefully in her sleep and went right to the arms of our Savior.

Edna was born a twin in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on December 19, 1930, to Salvation Army Officers Sr. Majors Jesse F. and Claribel F. (Viereck) Hager. Edna was raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania and graduated from Stratford High School, class of 1950. She lived the majority of her life in Stratford, CT where she married Joseph Pascucci who passed away in 1991. Edna loved Jesus and led her family to Him as well. She served faithfully at her church and loved to sing in the choir as well as sing solos. She would spend the first part of her morning reading the Bible and praying for her family and friends. You would find her playing the piano and singing hymnals. She enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling team with her co-workers. Edna retired from Phillips Medical System in Shelton, CT where she worked as an Executive Assistant. She moved to Rio Rancho, NM to care for her sister and after her sister passed away, she stayed there. She met Marvin at her church in 2005, and they married in 2006 until he passed away in 2016. She cared for him until the end and as he passed, she was singing him "The Old Rugged Cross." She truly loved from the bottom of her heart and took joy in caring for those she knew. Edna will be deeply missed by those who love her.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Vivian Medrek of Shelton, CT; Grandchildren Alanna (Cameron) Sanders of Maryville, TN, Dianna Medrek of Shelton, CT, Christopher Medrek of Shelton, CT, Vincent (Thuy) Le-Medrek of West Hartford, CT, and Step Grandson Michael Sickonic; Great Grandchildren Annastaysia Perez, Khoi Le-Medrek, and Roen Le-Medrek; and Great Great Grandson Isaiah Perez; brother, David N. Hager of Montoursville, PA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Pascucci (promoted to glory in 1991) and Marvin Billings (promoted to glory in 2016), sisters Flora (Franklin) Thomas and Evangeline Van Volkenburg; brothers Jesse Hager, Clark (Gloria) Hager, and Charles (Norma) Hager; sister-in-law Jean Hager, and twin brother Edward (Isabella) Hager.

Visitation will take place on Friday February 27 2026, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT.
