"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know, fills my every longing, keeps me singing as I go."
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

Hello to the family of Edna,

My name is verdine kearney and I had the pleasure of being in the office next to Edna when she worked at the Greater Bridgeport Community Mental Health center. Oh, what a joy she was, her smile and manner cannot be duplicated. She was one of the brightest and most knowledgeable people I knew. She was well liked and respected and we, she and I, became friends thru our job. I cannot remember when we became so close, but when she retired and went to Boca Raton, she and Thor would drive back up to their trumbull home and she would always let me know she was coming and we would have lunch. When she moved to PA we kept in touch. We would exchange sending christmas and birthday cards and now I realize my last card to her was this past Christmas! I loved her and she is what is best in a person - you were blessed to have such a wonderful person in your family. Everyone doesn't get that joy but that is what Edna was, a joy!!
