Edna Louise Cobb, age 82, of Jackson, Ohio passed away on April 13, 2025. Edna was born on September 16, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Sadie and Frank Archer.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Cobb, her daughter, Pam Gilmon, her siblings, Shirley Clarkson and Ruby DeBoard.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Carl (Crecy) Young and John (Cathy) Young, her step-daughters, Lisa Laney, Renee Wenger, her grandchildren, Peggy Shank, Matt Young, Amber McCarty, Shawn Young, Christopher Young, Alan Young, Nick Laney, Elizabeth Wenger, Caitlin Polley, a host of great-grandchildren, and her brother, Franklin (Peggy) Archer Jr.
She loved playing cards, drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, and watching QVC and Soap Operas. She loved helping others.
She will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 11am-1pm for calling hours. A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
