Edna M. Dedmon, age 90, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Gables of Canton. She was born on October 24, 1934, in Canton, Ohio, to the late William and Nina (Hurst) Morgan.
Edna was a longtime member of the Eden Church of the Brethren. She retired from both Timken Company and J.C. Penney. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with friends at card club. However, she truly loved the moments she shared with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Riley R. Dedmon, who passed away on April 20, 2019, along with several brothers, sisters, and a grandson, Devin.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: David, Douglas, Daniel (Diane), Darin, Donald (Lisa) Dedmon; grandchildren: Shannan, Samantha, Joleen, Jeremy, Melanie, Ashley, Amber, and Brianna; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
