Edna R. (Riggs) Leach, 85, of Mount Carmel, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Wabash General Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 15, 1940, to Everett and Ruth (Knoerr) Price in Wabash County, Illinois. She married Danny Leach on October 24, 1958, in Mount Carmel, Illinois and together they enjoyed sixty-five years of marriage centered on their family until his passing on December 17, 2023.

Edna was a loving mother and grandmother, whose family meant the world to her. She was a hard-working lady and had many jobs over the years. Edna was employed by Wabash General Hospital for many years in the medical records department. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Church of Christ. Edna will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Edna will be remembered by her three sons, Jerry Leach, Gary Leach and wife, Mandy, Mike Leach and wife, Becky; one daughter, Beth Bunting and husband, Dustin; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Leach, Nathan Leach, Brandon (Krystle) Leach, Paula (Joey) Molstad, Caleb (Nicolette) Leach, Jonathan (Cara) Leach, Matt Leach, Leah (Austin) Rue, and Luke (Ally) Bunting; Twelve great grandchildren with two more on the way; one great-great grandchild, Lelani Rose Leach; siblings, Everett Wayne Riggs, Charlie (Judy) Riggs, Lisa (Victor) Marker.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Fleta Elizabeth Price, Daniel Riggs, and Ellen Spruell.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Chapel of Keepes Funeral Home with Vernon Higginson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Edna's memory to Mount Carmel Church of Christ. Envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be mailed to Keepes Funeral Home, 1500 North Cherry Street, Mount Carmel, IL 62863.
