Edna M Marker, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday September 18, 2025 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin.

Edna was born January 9, 1930 to John and Dorothy (Fisher) Wickham in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from West High School in Rockford, Illinois, she met and married the love of her life, Robert V. Marker on May 8th of 1948. Edna loved many hobbies including knitting/crocheting prayer squares, blankets and hats for her many grandkids, painting landscapes of her cabin in Spooner, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and playing cards with those at the Senior Center she attended. In Ednas early life she bowled for many years, was a proud PTO member at Riverside School, and an election worker for 30 years. She was a collector of many things, pottery being some of her favorite items. She was a proud member of the Sleepy Eye Collectors Club. Edna loved being visited by her family and friends and talking to them, even if it was just a phone call for a little while. She would never turn down a trip to go get ice cream and take in the seasons that surrounded her.

She is survived by her children Carl (Mary Ann) Marker of Aurora, Illinois, Brett Marker of Spooner, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; Aaron (Ashli) Bucher, Angela (Charles) Elder, Jason (Gina) Marker, Kenneth (Kate) Marker, Laura (Nate) Lundgren, Emily Marker, and Robert Marker; one brother Herbert (Donna) Wickham; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Preceding Edna in death is her father John, mother Dorthy, husband Robert V, brother Jack, son James, son Robert C, daughter Lanette, and granddaughter Amanda.
