Edna Mae Moreno, 68, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away September 14, 2025. She was born December 8, 1956 in Marked Tree, AR, to Lloyd Morris and Ella Morris. She was raised by Joe Morris.

Edna was a "Goodwill Queen" and loved to search for treasures from county line to county line. She also enjoyed camping with her family, eating her fried chicken and drinking Boone's Wine. Most of all, she enjoyed being "Nanny" to every kid around the block and spoiling all her grandkids.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Ella Morris; son Jessie Roberson "Fat man"; daughter Kera Moreno and granddaughter Kristi Dixson.

Survivors include her spouse Benjamin Moreno; son Walter Dixson (Belinda); daughter Luisa Absher; bonus daughter Susan Lane; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; plenty of kids who also knew her as Nanny; sisters Wanda Casey; Donna Garduno (Joel) and brother Michael "Joey" Morris; best friends Janie Baker; Joy Stroud and Brenda Love.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Edna's life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Burial to follow service at Crestview Cemetery.
