Edna Page Obituary

Edna Mae Page, 75, born on April 2, 1950, in Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy filled with warmth, creativity, and a fiery spirit that touched the lives of those around her.

Throughout her life, Edna was known for her tenacity and adventurous spirit. A devoted wife to her beloved husband, William H. Page, affectionately known as "Henry," Edna shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they nurtured their family and cherished their time spent in each other's company, leading a quiet yet fulfilling life.

Edna's career was as diverse as her many talents. As a dedicated stay-at-home mom, she balanced the responsibilities of nurturing her children with a series of small jobs that kept her family going and her connected. She even had a short stint selling encyclopedias door-to-door when she was young. Later, she embraced a career in quality control, contributing to the production of computer chips with diligence and dedication.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Edna loved her church family at Rock Springs Baptist Church and was a member of the Homemaker Sunday School Class. She was a passionate arts-and-crafts enthusiast. She explored various creative outlets, including painting, ceramics, and crocheting. Among her most distinctive talents was the art of carving ostrich eggs, transforming them into remarkable pieces that showcased her creativity and enthusiasm for new hobbies. She also had a huge love of all flowers.

Edna's presence was undeniably impactful; she had a lively personality, often described as a "firecracker." Her sassy nature and ability to brighten a room made her a beloved figure to those fortunate enough to know her. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, always adding a spark of joy and laughter to any conversation.

Edna is survived by her loving husband, William Henry Page, Sr, her two children, William Henry Page, Jr. (Carolina), and April Page Bagwell (Mitch); her grandchildren, Jessica Gillespie, Wilson Page (Lilly), Bailey Webb (Taylor), Billie Jean Rookard (Garrett), and Clayton Page. She also leaves behind her siblings, David Woody (Arlene), Ann Frady (Tommy), Donna Burns (Bob), and Cathy Cothran (John).

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Ida Mae Woody, and a sister, Rebecca Reynolds.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Rock Springs Baptist Church from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow immediately after in Robinson Memorial Gardens, Easley, SC.
