Edna Paske Obituary
January 15, 1931 - June 3, 2025
Edna E. Paske, age 94, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Oakwood West. She was born in Wausau, Wis., on January 15, 1931, the daughter of Herman and Helen Paske.
Edna graduated from Wausau High School. She was an office manager at UW-Madison for many years. Edna entered and won jitterbug contests with her brothers, Jerry and Don. She was heavily involved in Bethel Horizons, a summer camp for kids.
On November 29, 1986, she married Charles Pruett. After retirement they toured the US together in their motorhome for many years visiting many historical lighthouses, a passion of theirs, and visiting family and friends along the way. They also enjoyed Scottish dance.
In her later years, Edna suffered from dementia but never lost her cheerful disposition and appreciation for others. Her lively spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Edna is survived by seven nieces and nephews, Tom Paske, Ted Paske, Craig Paske, Kurt Paske, Brenda Paske, Sandra Ross, and Mara Gordon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; and brothers, Art Paske, Herman Paske, Donald Paske, and Gerald Paske.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 1 p.m., until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Oakwood Foundation.
