Edna was born on August 7,1930 to Edgar and Winifred Cheeseman, number 6 of 10 children. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Thomas E. Adams, her second husband Noel P. Reese, and 8 of her siblings.
She is survived by daughters, Lorraine Adams of Greece NY, and Lucy Hardin of Garner NC. Sisters, Sara Hastings, Vera Cornwell and sister-in-law Rosemarie Cheeseman, and many special nieces, nephews, and friends.
Edna was always shy at first, then warmed up with a big smile and wonderful laugh, a friend to all, and loved by so many.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 5, 2025 at 11am at Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 137 Robinson Street Binghamton. A funeral service will follow at 12Noon.
Burial will be private at Knox Cemetery, Oquaga next to Tom E, baby brother Bruce, and her parents and grandparents.
Lorraine and Lucy send special thanks to the staff of Daffodil Court at Ideal for her care since October 2023, especially Dr. Eisenberg, Emily, Angela, Heaven and Gina, and many others.

I will forever remember The bond I had with this woman. she was like a grandmother At work she was so special to me. the hugs and cheek kisses and The I love yous from Edna Were my favorite thing too look forward to going to work everyday. My condolences to the family. I love and miss you forever Edna - Your "little girl" Heaven

Dear Lucy
It is with love and memories you will hold your mother's heart in your soul. I can remember the stories you had about you and your mom and the happiness you two shared thru out your life.
