It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of
Eduardo Davila, beloved father, husband, grandfather, son, brother, uncle,
cousin, and friend. He was born on March 7, 1956, and returned to Our
Heavenly Father on October 9, 2023, at the age of 67.
In today's world, success is measured by accolades, possessions, and
financial prowess. Eduardo's success, however, can be measured by his
kindness towards others and by the amazing sons he left behind. Their
strength and resiliency are clearly traits they inherited from their "pops" as
they lovingly called him. All those who were lucky enough to witness his
gentleness, will surely miss this humble soul.
Eduardo is survived by Ofelia Flores, his loving wife of 40 years and his sons,
Mario (wed to Susana); Rafael (wed to Ana Cristina); and David. His
grandchildren, Sayuri, Kaleb, and Leonardo will dream of grandpa 's warm
smile and quiet laugh. His siblings, Mario Davila, Guadalupe Rincon, Rosario
Dehesa, Gabriela Urias, and Marcela Davila as well as his nieces and
nephews, will always carry him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Enriqueta Anaya and Mario Davila Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held at San Jose Funeral Home-East on 10950 Pellicano Dr.
79935 (915) 590-8700 on Saturday, October14, 2023 from 9:30 am to 12:20
pm. The blessed Rosary will take place at 11:00 am. The funeral Mass will be
held at All Saints Catholic Church, located on 1415 Dakota St. El Paso, TX
79930 at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
Cremation to be held at a later date.
