It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Eduardo Leon, age 44, who left us on December 13, 2024, at Advent Health East Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Eduardo was born on July 6, 1980, in the Bronx, New York, to his late parents, Eduardo Leon and Miriam Carvajal.
Eduardo’s journey brought him to Florida, where he built a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Rebecca, and together they created a family filled with love. He was truly a beacon of light, the life of every gathering, and possessed a contagious joy that brightened the day of everyone fortunate enough to know him. His spirit was defined by his loving nature; he was a devoted husband, an incredible father, a caring brother, and a cherished uncle. Those who crossed paths with him experienced firsthand his genuine support and unwavering kindness, leaving lasting impressions through his compassion and understanding.
A dedicated provider, Eduardo took immense pride in his work as a plumber, earning the prestigious title of master plumber through years of diligence and commitment to his craft. His passion for his profession mirrored the dedication he showed to his family, which was always his top priority.
Eduardo is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Cuevas; their daughters, Tifani Cuevas-Leon, Destiny Cuevas-Leon, Courtney Kuntzi, and Hannah Cuevas; his precious grandchildren, Kaimana Medina and Juniper Kuntzi; He also leaves behind his siblings, his twin sister, Ericka Leon, Luz Gonzalez, Jamie Gonzalez, Yisenia Leon, Lucy D. Leon, John Leon, Francisco Leon, Alberto Leon, Titina Leon, Iris Leon, and Luz Gonzalez, along with a multitude of family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
A celebration of Eduardo's life will take place on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home – East Orlando Chapel, located at 895 S. Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL. Prior to the service, visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
