Edward Arnold, 87, of Salem, NH passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.

Ed grew up in Everett, MA, the son of the late Hilda and Anthony Arnold. He graduated from Everett High School. Ed was a machinist for Market Forge in Everett. He enjoyed going on family vacations and most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ed will be deeply missed by his children; Deborah Therrien and her husband Kirk of Lynn, MA, Susan Rayno and her husband Kenneth of Manchester, NH, Nancy Easterwood and her husband Tom of Derry, NH, Steven Arnold and his wife Sharon of N. Andover, MA and Michael Arnold of Derry; his 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. His 10th great grandchild will be arriving in December.

He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Shirley (Tilton) Arnold.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 2nd from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm followed by a Funeral Services at 12:30 pm at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
