Edward Benningfield Obituary
He was born April 25, 1950, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, to the late Edward Guy and Jeanette Lile Benningfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Ricky Benningfield.
He was a member of Cane Valley Baptist Church, a former mail carrier and Park Ranger for the Corps of Engineer.
Survivors include:
His wife – Dotty Benningfield of Columbia
Two brothers – Stephen Benningfield of Elizabethtown and Andy Benningfield of Hodgenville
Two sisters – Carolyn Loebig of Elizabethtown and Ann Smith of Hodgenville
Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Clay Scott and Bro. Steve Willis officiating
Burial in Mt. Carmel Cemetery
Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Thursday
