He was born on July 20, 1948, in Methuen, MA, the son of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Karnilla) Borelli. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. He liked working in his garden, watching the birds, and putting puzzles together.
He is survived by his 5 children: Amy Thayer, Kenneth Borelli and wife Sara, Rebecca Harris and husband Jason, James Borelli and wife Sara, and Christopher Borelli and wife Nicole; 7 grandchildren: Riah, Jeanna and husband Jayson, Anthony, Brian and wife Julia, Samuel and wife Emma, Bryson, and Zachary; 4 great-grandchildren: Griffin, Hudson, Camden, and Quinn; 2 siblings: Carol and Joseph; nieces and nephews; and his companion, Joan.
He was predeceased by his wife, Leslie; and brother, Paul "Busty" Borelli.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon, with a service at noon, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. A committal will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Village Cemetery, Peltoma Ave., Pittsfield.
