I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
He gave me wings and set me free, finally at last, I'm back to me.
My life's been full, I savoured much good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Should absence carve a silent place, let love and laughter fill its grace.
Remember joy, a laugh, a kiss Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.
Recall the light we used to share and find me gently lingering there.
So, lift your gaze and feel the sun, my journey here is gently done.
But in your soul, I'll always be-A quiet echo, happy and free.
