Edward William "Eddie" Bowes III

Edward (Eddie) William Bowes III, 65, of Madison, Ohio passed away suddenly of natural causes at his home on Monday, March 2, 2026.

Eddie was born on October 31, 1960, to parents John Walter and Joan Carol (Smith) Bowes.

He lived a whole life of driving and/or repairing automobiles, from sports cars like his souped-up Corvette, to big semi-trucks. When he wasn't driving, he enjoyed Martial Arts where he excelled as a 3rd Degree Blackbelt, fishing, camping, race cars and most importantly, spending time with his grandkids.

Eddie is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Art) Blazej and Cynthia Bowes; grandchildren, Melanie Angell, Alexia Clark and Dominik Blazej; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Grayson; mother, Joan Hart; siblings, Michael (Julie) Bowes, Lynette Deminer, Sandy (Rob) Samay, Theresa Zabarskey, Christy Gunther, Tina (Keith) Bartley, Mary Colter and Rachael (Eli) Tackla. Eddie is also survived by many beloved aunt and uncles, nieces and nephews and several cherished close friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, his biological father, John Bowes in 1978 and stepfather, Daniel Hart in 2025.

Thursday, March 5th, 2026, the immediate family will gather for private time from 4pm-5pm and then all are welcome for a Visitation that will be held, from 5pm-7pm at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield Road, Geneva, OH 44041 (440) 361-2273.
