Jerry Deel Obituary
A graduate of Freeport High School in Pennsylvania, Jerry went on to receive his Bachelors Degree from Clarion University. A teacher for Madison Local School District, Jerry taught Science and Biology for 40 years. He also taught at Lakeland Community College. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. Jerry also enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his family to Virginia Beach.
He is survived by sons, Paul Deel, Jeff Deel, Brian (Jennifer) Deel; grandchildren, Evan and Hannah; sister, Sharron Goldinger. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Geraldine Deel; his parents; brothers, Dan, Roger, Kevin, and Mark; sister Cheryl.
Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Online obituary and guestbook at www.behmfuneral.com
