He was born on July 31, 1957 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of the late Edward A. Boyd, Sr. and Shirley Jean Harper Boyd. He was a Warehouse worker for a number of years prior to his health failing. Edward, enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He was of the Christian Faith and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by a brother; Douglas (Laura) Boyd of Indianapolis and a sister; Linda Sullivan also of Indianapolis, one niece; Sarah Ellen Sullivan and two nephews; Charles Edward Sullivan and Matthew Wayne Boyd as well as other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens with interment to follow. You may offer Condolences and sign the Online Tribute Book at www.somersetundertaking.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Edward A. Boyd, Jr., Memorial Fund in care of Somerset Undertaking Co, 113 North Main Street, Somerset, Kentucky 42503.
