DALMATIA - Edward L. Carl Sr., age 63, of Dalmatia, died February 16, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.
He was born on April 20, 1959 in Harrisburg, PA the son of the late Harold Carl, Sr. and Evelyn (Shiley) Carl.
Edward was married to Cynthia (Schwalm) Carl for 43 years.
He worked as an EMT with Dalmatia Ambulance.
He enjoyed collecting NASCAR memorabilia, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter Robyn Anderson and her husband Nickalous of Dalmatia, son Edward Carl, Jr. and his girlfriend Marah Welker of Klingerstown, grandchildren Maddison, Jordyn, Lila, Toby, Jasmine, and Garrett, great granddaughter Kinsley, sister Joanne Minnich of TN, brothers Harold Carl, Jr. of Dornsife, Allen Carl and his wife Gina of FL, Charles Carl of Harrisburg, sisters Valerie Moyer and her husband Paul of Pottsville, Trudy Bingaman and her husband Mark of Sunbury, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life scheduled for a later date.
He was preceded in death by sisters Evelyn Matter and Catherine Hoke.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the funeral home.
