Edward H. Chandler, 78 of Union Beach passed away Tuesday April 1, 2025.
He was born in Long Branch to the late James Harold Chandler and Marie (Gunsauls) Chandler.
Edward is also predeceased by his siblings Bobby Chandler and James Chandler.
For many years Edward worked as a Chemical Operator for International Flavors and Fragrances Inc. of Hazlet.
He had a passion for golf, pets, good meals and good parties. You could always find him lounging pool-side and he'd be happy to make you an LIT. We will miss his infectious fun, attitude and all the great times we shared.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife Jean (Young) Chandler; loving children Deborah Springsteen of Union Beach and Michael Chandler also of Union Beach; cherished grandchildren Michael Anthony Chandler and his wife Ashley of Hazlet and Alexa Jean and her husband Corey of Keyport; his beloved brother Keith Chandler and his wife Rena of Union Beach and also survived by his Step-Mother Gloria Chandler.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Edward on Sunday April 6, 2025 from 12PM - 4PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
At that time a funeral service will be offered at the funeral home for Edward.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Heart and Lung Association.
