Edward Richard Clair
August 29, 1962 - November 5, 2025
Edward Richard Clair, age 63, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away on November 5, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 29, 1962, in Hugoton, Kansas, to Everett and Devota Clair, and was lovingly named after both of his grandfathers.
Edward grew up in Elkhart, Kansas, where he attended grade school and high school. After graduation, he continued his education at Liberal Vo-Tech in Liberal, KS. Over the years, he was employed with several companies, including the Dodge City Meat Packing Plant, Seaboard Foods, and most recently, D&D Roustabout in Elkhart, Kansas.
From a young age, Edward had a passion for baseball, playing throughout his childhood. His love for the outdoors carried into adulthood-he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, golfing, and bowling. He especially looked forward to playing in golf scramble tournaments with family and friends.
More than anything, Edward cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. His laughter, easy smile, and caring heart made everyone feel welcome and loved.
He is survived by his life partner, Kimberly Bowers; step-daughters, Jasmine Hudson and Grace Miller; step-grandchild, Nevaeh Ethridge; siblings, Ernest Clair of Elkhart, Kansas, Everett (Junior) Clair and wife, Billi of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Bobbi Clair of Elkhart, Kansas, and Becky Clair Rogers and husband, Jerry Rogers of Comfort, Texas; nieces, Danni and Stevi Clair of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Clair Sr. and Devota Clair.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Edward's memorable life.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 1270 S. Business Route 5, Camdenton, MO 65020. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.hedgesscottmillard.com .
