Sandra Gail Pope

Sandra Pope, age 68, of Eldon, Missouri passed away after a courageous, short battle with cancer on November 4, 2025 at Lake Regional Health System. She was born on July 22, 1957 in Jefferson City, MO; a daughter of Lloyd "Jack" McKinley and Paulette Opal (Roe) McKinley. She was united in marriage to Dean Pope and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Sandy, born and raised in Eldon was a 1976 graduate of Eldon High School. She remained in Eldon and worked at Gateway Industries for 30 years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together, attending concerts, water aerobics and walking. She also enjoyed various church activities and listening to music. She will be remembered as a very special friend to so many in the community and missed by all.
Sandy is survived by her son Justin Pope of New Mexico, her grandson Jayden Pope of Nashville; sister Suzie McKinley, niece and nephew Holly and T. J. Blake all of Columbia, Aunt Betty McKinley Morris of Eldon; numerous cousins and her best friends Phyllis and Tom Blake of Eldon. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents.
Friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes-Eldon. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Bob Elder officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
