Edward S. "Ted" Clish, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away in a tragic accident March 7, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on September 30, 1962, in New Rochelle, NY, Ted was a man whose warmth and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
Ted's journey through life was marked by his deep devotion to his family and his love for the simple pleasures in life. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Alison L. (Caron) Clish of Uxbridge, and their three daughters: Lauren L., Audrey E., and Danielle A. Clish, all of Uxbridge. The bond he shared with his daughters was unbreakable, and he took immense pride in each of their achievements and unique personalities. Ted also leaves behind his trusted dog, Rocky, his best friend and constant companion that brought him immeasurable joy along with his mother-in-law, Lynne Caron of Mendon, his brother-in-law, Rob, and his wife Allison Brown Caron of Mendon, as well as his nephew, Paul Caron, niece, Lauren Brugger, and the Healey family of Hingham, MA and the Puzzanghero family of VA.
Ted's educational journey saw him graduate from Dean College and Framingham State College. His professional life was characterized by over a decade of service as a salesman with NSK of Chicago, where he was not only respected for his work ethic but also beloved for his friendly demeanor and ability to connect with people.
Outside of work, Ted was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, finding freedom and tranquility on the open road. His motorcycles were not only a hobby but his connection to his lifelong friends. He was equally content spending time by the pool at home or taking long walks in the woods behind their house and all the beautiful trails close to his home. He was a man who thrived in the outdoors and cherished the moments of solitude and reflection that nature provided. He was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Reserves.
Known for his culinary skills, Ted was a wizard in the kitchen, often delighting family and friends with his delicious creations making sure to have photo-ops of all his dishes. Ted's knowledge was vast and varied; he proudly knew a little about a lot of things, and his curiosity about the world was infectious.
Ted's life centered around "his girls," and he was their unwavering supporter in every endeavor. His guidance and wisdom were the compass by which they navigated life, and his legacy will continue to live on through them. His easygoing nature and genuine interest in others made him a friend to many. Ted's laughter, tricks, and stories will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His memory will be a beacon of joy and a reminder to embrace life's journey daily with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. Ted's presence will forever be missed, but the impact he made on those around him will never be forgotten.
