Edward Lee Crane Jr., known affectionately as J.C. to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on September 14, 1965, in Fort Worth, TX, J.C. lived a life marked by kindness, humor, and an unmatched skill with his hands. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, with Gary Wingrove officiating. Burial will follow at the Duncan Cemetery, all arrangements have been entrusted to the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow, between the hours of 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

J.C. is survived by a loving family, including his son, Edward "Trey" Lee Crane III of Temple; daughters, Yollie Newman and her husband Connor of Duncan, and Rachel Bumpas of Duncan; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Lillian "Lynn" Lucille Brown; brothers, Gary Wingrove of Fort Worth, TX, Stacey Crane and his wife Michelle of Fort Worth; sisters, Janie Borchardt and her husband Dudley of Saginaw, TX, Natalie W Messick of Sanginaw, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews who will all cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Crane Sr.; daughters, Amanda Sanchez Dodd and Lacy Crane; granddaughter, Sara Crane; and sister, Sherry Lynn Crane.

J.C.'s life was defined by his career as an auto body mechanic, where his talent for restoring cars brought him much joy and the respect of his peers. His passion for his work was paralleled only by his love for the outdoors, as he found solace in fishing, riding horses, and attending rodeos. A true family man, J.C. enjoyed being with his loved ones, whether it was working on cars together, eating Mexican food, or engaging in lively games of dominoes during family cookouts.

Those who knew J.C. will remember him as the kind of man who could light up a room with his humor and warm any heart with his kindness. His handy nature meant that he was often the go-to person for fixing anything, a role he took on with pride and diligence. J.C.'s legacy will live on through the laughter shared at family gatherings, the stories passed down to his grandchildren, and the countless memories treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
